Is CBD for Me?
CBD (Cannabidiol) is one of over 120 compounds found in the Cannabis Sativa plant. CBD is often associated with THC, its well-known cousin. However, CBD is non-intoxicating and WILL NOT get you high. THC will get you high and may make you feel anxious or paranoid.

Andrea Gibson, Co-Founder
My husband and I started MODAE Health & Wellness to help bring awareness to the importance for women to make health a priority. As an African American woman, I can relate to the role women of color play as the backbone of the family. There is a constant demand for our time, energy, and attention, and as a result, we often neglect our health and wellness as we tend to the needs of others.
My MODAE journey started after my husband recommended CBD as a natural remedy to a painful knee injury I suffered, and I am glad he did. As a result, I experienced the remarkable effects of CBD for soothing soreness and stiffness in my knee. With its help, I was able to return to my active lifestyle.
MODAE’s vision was born out of a desire to educate women like me about the benefits of quality premium CBD and make it more accessible to people of color looking to explore a holistic non-pharmaceutical alternative to improve their health, wellness, and quality of life.
